John Files

John Files, Jr., 77, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at his residence.

Mr. Files was born Dec. 30, 1932 in Poplar Bluff. He had retired from the U. S. Air Force. Mr. Files enjoyed playing golf, hunting and fishing.

His wife, Louise Files preceded him in death in 1976.

Survivors include two stepchildren, Kim Ledbetter of Coral Springs, Fla. and Linda Romano of Auburn, WA.; two sisters, Marie Williams of Springfield and Nancy Mae Kearbey of Poplar Bluff; and two brothers, Ron Files of St. Charles and Delbert Files of Poplar Bluff.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
