John Wiley Lowe

John Wiley Lowe, 76, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Lowe was born Feb. 14, 1933 in Chester, Ark. He was of the Baptist faith; a retired logger; and a veteran of the U. S. Army. Mr. Lowe enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his daughter, Mary Norman of Nashville, Ark.; step-son, Joey Adkins, of Poplar Bluff; 4 grandchildren: special friend and caregiver, Debra Wilfong, of Poplar Bluff; sister, Florence Richardson of Chester, Ark.; and brothers, Charles Lowe of Hot Springs, Ark., Carl Lowe, of Warren, Ark. and Jessie Lowe of Dallas, Tex.

A graveside service with full military honors will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield with Sister Pauley Anderson officiating.
