John Arthur "Jack" Monjeau

Poplar Bluff, Missouri

John Arthur "Jack" Monjeau ,77, of Poplar Bluff, passed away at home surrounded by his family and friends on Wednesday January 1, 2019.

Jack was born on March 25, 1942.

Jack had much to be proud of, but his greatest accomplishment was celebrating twenty-four years of sobriety. As a group leader for Alcoholics Anonymous and through his personal journey, Jack helped countless individuals experience the same freedom he had come to know.

He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

Survivors include his children, Shawn Miles of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Dana Willis of Doniphan, MO, Kelly Miles of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Laura Anderson of St. Johns, MI; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a brother Jerry Howell of TN; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Deprow and a grandson Michael Hook

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service in the chapel at Moore Funeral Service 1100 Iron Bridge Road, Poplar Bluff, MO.

A service celebrating Jack’s life will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Byron Beck officiating.
