John Robert Varity

John Robert Varity, 85, of St. Louis, Mo., formally of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018 at St. Lukes Hospital.

John, the son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Burch) Breth, was born July 9, 1933 in East St. Louis, Ill. He was of the Baptist faith. In his earlier years he was a welder, carpenter and a bus driver.

Survivors include a son, John Robert (Susan) Breth, Jr.; and four grandchildren, Steven Breth, Melissa Breth, Jessica Breth and Rosie Breth; two great-grandchildren, Lucas Groves and Emma Bell.
