Johnny L. (Jackson) Mccune

Johnny L. McCune, 84, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012 at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. McCune was born Sept. 3, 1927 in Poplar Bluff. She was of the Baptist faith, and attended Faith Tabernacle in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. McCune previously worked in the housekeeping department at Doctor's Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed going to church, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and playing bingo.

In 1971, she was married to David McCune. He preceded her in death in 1992.

Survivors include two children, Linda Alexander of Poplar Bluff and Charles Clubb of Burleson, Tex.; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service and interment of Mrs. McCune's ashes will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with Pastor Keith Luke officiating.
