Jonathon Tylor Simpson

Jonathon Tylor Simpson, 30 of Jackson, Mo., passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Simpson, the son of Leo Simpson and Vicki (McKenzie) Simpson was born March 10, 1988 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He was a member of the United Pentecost Church of Cape Girardeau. Mr. Simpson proudly served in the U.S. Army and enjoyed spending time with his family, boxing, basketball, weight lifting, fishing and riding motorcycles.

He was married to Susan Nicole (Baker) Simpson of Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a daughter, Gabrielle Nicole Simpson of Cape Girardeau, Mo., his father Leo Simpson of Jackson, Mo., his mother Vickie Simpson of Poplar Bluff, brothers, Douglas Lee Simpson of Ok, William Clayton Simpson of Co., Ranley Simpson, Preston Simpson, Dereck Whitworth and Korey Whitworth all of Mo.; sisters, Britteny Simpson, Angel Gramlisch, Misty Deffendall, Courtnee Whitworth, Amber Whitworth, Kayanna Johnson all of Mo; a step-sister Lesley Bowers of Missouri, and his grandmother Lois Farrow of Mo.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, with the funeral service following at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Darrell Faire officiating. Burial will follow at Ash Hill Cemetery in Fisk, Mo.
