Joseph Thomas Bone

Joseph Thomas Bone, 28, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, May 8, 2010 in Poplar Bluff.

Mr. Bone was born Feb. 1, 1982 in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Poplar Bluff, and was employed at Lampe Home Construction Co. Mr. Bone was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed playing with his children, coaching soccer, fishing, golfing, watching Notre Dame football, barbequing, and lending a helping hand.

On Aug. 20, 2005 he married Rachael Smith in Poplar Bluff. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his children, Hanna and Connor Bone; parents, Eldon Kenneth and Jan Marie (Nauert) Bone of Poplar Bluff; sister, Sarah Bone and daughter, Kyleigh Edmundson, of Poplar Bluff; brother, Danny Bone and wife Taryn of Los Angeles, Calif.; and grandparents, Bill and Sue Gerecke of Cape Girardeau.

His grandparents, Joseph Nauert and Eldon and Murriel Bone preceded Mr. Bone in death.

A prayer service will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with visitation following until 8 p.m. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with Father David Coon officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
