Joseph Albert Abbie Davis

Born Christmas Eve, 1926, Joseph A. ""Abbie"" Davis, died at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau on September 3, 2014. He is survived by one sister, Betty Lowe of Monticello, IN, a son, Mike Davis of Tempe, AZ, two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

During WWII, he served in the U.S. Army. Once an avid outdoorsman, he was a member of American Legion Post #153 and V.F.W. Post #7477.

Visitation will be from 1 ? 1:45 p.m., September 12, 2014 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. A 2 p.m. graveside service with full military honors will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating.
