Joshua Adam Phelps

Joshua Adam Phelps, 25, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, April 7, 2012 in Poplar Bluff.

Josh was born March 16, 1987 in Poplar Bluff. He was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School Class of 2005, and had obtained a degree in Computer Science. Josh previously worked in the cell phone industry, and most recently was owner and operator of Studio 87, where he created websites and other computer programs for customers in Poplar Bluff to Springfield, Mo. He attended Fellowship General Baptist Church. Josh enjoyed online computer games and sports.

Survivors include his mother and step-father who raised him, Bruce and Kristi Johnson Richards of Poplar Bluff; brother, Jerime Edwards of Poplar Bluff; maternal grandmother, Treasel Sisk of Pocahontas, Ark.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins

His grandfather, Namon Johnson preceded Josh in death.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral chapel with Rev. Paul White officiating. Burial will follow at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
