Joyce Ann Hooper

Joyce A. Hooper, 72, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016 at Sunset Hills Health and Rehab Center in St. Louis, Mo.

Joyce was born May 2, 1944 in Poplar Bluff and was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed her baby dolls and being the keeper of many family secrets.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Arnold Hooper; and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce’s father, Thomas F. Hooper, a sister, Janet Louise Hooper and three brothers, Ronald E. Hooper Sr., Thomas Dewayne Hooper and Jerry Dean Hooper preceded her in death.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday with the funeral service following at 1 p.m. at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Billy Orr will officiate. Burial will be at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley.
