Joyce Jean Livesay

Joyce Jean Livesay, 80, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Livesay, the daughter of the late Clifford and Anna Green Crawford, was born April 22, 1936 in Rector, Ark. She was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff, where she was the church pianist. Mrs. Livesay played the piano for many churches and for the Senior Singing Singers. Over the years Mrs. Livesay worked in retail sales at Sears and JC Penney and later in medical billing. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Poplar Bluff Chapter 344 and a member of the RSVP. She enjoyed spending time with her family, flowers and cooking.

On Nov. 6, 1955, she married the love of her life, Bobby Gene Livesay in Rector, Ark. He preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 2016.

Survivors include her daughter, Anna Sharlene Livesay of Michigan City, Ind.; and a sister, Carolyn Linam of Arkansas.
