Juanita Golden Mcghee

Juanita McGhee, 82, of Poplar Bluff, died Friday, March 2, 2007 at her residence.

Mrs. McGhee was born July 2, 1924, near Marked Tree, Ark. She was of the Jehovah's Witnesses faith and a retired L.P.N. Mrs. McGhee enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, sewing and dancing at Senior Citizen's dances.

On Oct. 30, 2001, she married Walter McGhee, in Poplar Bluff. He survives.

Survivors include her daughter, Dawn Gilbert, of Palatine, Ill.; two sons, David Beck, of Steamboat Springs, Colo. and Charles Beck, of Palatine, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Nancy Y. McGhee, of Chico, Calif. and Joy Lynn Spencer, of Galesburg, Ill.; two stepsons, Walter David McGhee, of Palm Desert, Calif. and Garry D. McGhee, of Springfield; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren, 9 step-great grandchildren; and two brothers, Danny Beck and Larry Beck, both of Poplar Bluff; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel. Burial will be at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.

McGhee, of Chico, Calif. and Joy Lynn Spencer, of Galesburg, Ill.; two stepsons, Walter David McGhee, of Palm Desert, Calif. and Garry D. McGhee, of Springfield; 4 grandchildren, Tony Golden, Clay Gilbert, Brett Gilbert and Taelor Salvino; 5 great-grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren, 9 step-great grandchildren;

Visitation was held Sunday March 4th at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service was held Monday, March 5th at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with Kirk Milbrandt officiating and Mrs. McGhee's cousin, Jean Green assisting. Burial was at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
