Juanita B. Raymer, 87, of St. Charles, Mo., formerly of Poplar Bluff died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012 at St. Joseph's Health Center in St. Charles.
Mrs. Raymer was born Sept. 2, 1924 in Poplar Bluff. She was of the Pentecostal faith, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Raymer enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed nature and animals, especially birds and cats.
Mrs. Raymer's first husband and father of her children, Milburn Vinson preceded her in death in 1952. She later married Robert Raymer who preceded her in death in 1993.
Survivors include a son: Larry Vinson and wife Karen of Vass, NC; daughter-in-law, Bettina Vinson of St. Louis; four grandchildren: Kelli Eckman and husband Brett, Stacey Vinson and wife Breony, Matthew Vinson and wife Melanie and Timothy Vinson; five great-grandchildren: Sean, Lindsay, Bradley, Ryan and Finley; and a great great grandchild: Preston.
Her parents, Francis Marion and Carrie Gracey (Morey) Hathaway, son, Milburn W. Vinson and grandson, Richard Vinson also preceded Mrs. Raymer in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
