Juanita Sandusky, 93, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at The Manor.
Mrs. Sandusky, the daughter of the late Bud and Nancy Gallaher, was born March 23, 1923 in Collinwood Tenn. She was a member of First Church of God and was a homemaker. Mrs. Sandusky enjoyed spending time with her family, attending church and crocheting.
On Oct. 11, 1940, she married Walter Warden Sandusky in Blytheville, Ark. He preceded her in death on Feb. 10, 1996.
Survivors include her six children, Wanda Buffington of Kirbyville, Mo., Mary Ann Anderson of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Jerry Sandusky of California, Brenda Sandusky Johnson of Jonesboro, Ark., Dennis Sandusky of Texas and Nancy Lourances of Arnold, Mo.; and 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
A daughter, Carol Hayes also preceded her in death.
The visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with a graveside service and burial to follow at 3 p.m. at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.The Rev. Ben Higgins will officiate.
