Juanita Alberta Selvidge

Juanita Alberta (Pyles) Selvidge, ""Mom"", age 94, left this earth to join her God surrounded by her family on April 2, 2009.
Juanita was born June 17, 1914 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She was a member of South Poplar Bluff General Baptist Church.
On July 22, 1930 she married Taylor Howard Selvidge. Ten Children were born of this union. Juanita enjoyed her family, friends, growing flowers, fishing, and ceramics. She worked as a waitress, switchboard operator, and retired at age 62.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert ""Bert"" Pyles and Mae Grace (Dunlap) Pyles, husband, Howard, daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Vaughn Pogue, sons, Robert ""Bobby"" Roy Selvidge, Carl Allen Selvidge, Gene Raymond Selvidge, granddaughter, Joy Lynn Anspach, great-great-granddaughter, Shania Rideout Slayden, son-in-law, Donald Rubotton, and brother Clifford Pyles.
She is survived by sons, Richard Howard Selvidge, wife Simone, Poplar Bluff, Charles Selvidge, wife Jan, Poplar Bluff, daughters, Wanda Sue Watson, husband Joe, Belton, Mo., Judith Mae Boyers, husband Kelly, Poplar Bluff, Linda Faye Rubottom, Greenwood, Ark., Carolyn Ann Rideout, husband Danny, St. Charles, Mo., daughter-in-laws, Louise Selvidge, Bonne Terre, Mo., Gloria Selvidge, Poplar Bluff; 18 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Keith Luke officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
