Juanita D. Wheelis

Juanita D. ""Mo"" Wheelis, 82, of Poplar Bluff died Friday, April 30, 2010 at her residence.

Ms. Wheelis was born April 24, 1928 in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and had retired from Morrison's Children's Store. Juanita ""Mo"" enjoyed spending time with her family, her two cats, Tammy and Whiskers, cooking, canning, quilting, gardening, playing cards and growing flowers.

Survivors include her daughters, Sheila Vinson and husband Howard, Claudette Wheelis and Paulette Alexander and husband Dale, all of Poplar Bluff; grandchildren, Michael Hefner, Kerrie Wagganer, Kylie Divine and Kristen Alexander; great-grandchildren, Aaron Hefner, Braiden Wagganer and Madelynne Wagganer.

Her parents, Andy and Grace (Padgett) Pearson preceded Ms. Wheelis in death.

A Rosary will begin at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with the visitation following until 8 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with Father David Coon officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
