Judith Charlyne Fisher, 70, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, April 3, 2011 in her home with her family present at her side.
Mrs. Fisher was born July 1, 1940 to Charles and Pansy Love, who preceded her in death. She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church. She loved her family and friends very much. Mrs. Fisher enjoyed sports, especially Cardinal baseball, and college basketball. She also loved reading, and listening to music,
On June 19, 1960, she married Charles Wayne Fisher in Poplar Bluff, who preceded her in death on June 19, 2006.
Survivors include five daughters, Tami Fisher, Lisa Carda and husband Greg, Terri Spradling and husband Chuck and Misti Lambert and husband Eric, all of Poplar Bluff and Laura Fisher, of Hermitage, Tenn.; one son, Ryan L. Davis and wife Alicia of Moberly, Mo.; 16 grandchildren, Jason Hall, Jerrad Roehrs, Brett Hall, Brooke Carda, Kirstie Carda, Kory Carda, Spencer Carda, Landen Fisher, Brax Fisher, Alexis Tipton, Blake Stroder, Collin Lambert, Matthew Lambert, Joshua Lambert, Serena Davis, and Camden Davis: 7 great-grandchildren, McKenzie Hall, Kadyn Hall, Skylen Roehrs, Brooklyn Hall, Brett Hall Jr., Alec Carda, and Tyson Roehrs; 2 sisters, Melissa Foust and Kathryn Amrhein both of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Charles Love of Poplar Bluff; and a large extended family, including her mother-in-law, Helen Smith, and 2 special friends, Lois Anthony and Greg Nagy both of Poplar Bluff.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff with Rev. Charles E. Buck officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
