Judy Ann Sickels, 68, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Sickels, the daughter of the late Joseph Everett and Ermyl Ethel (Keele) Hendrickson, was born Nov. 15, 1950 in St. Louis, Mo. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Sickels was a Direct Care Attendant for SEMO Residential Service. She enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, camping; she also enjoyed riding motorcycles and going four wheeling. She had a great passion for animals, especially horses, ducks and dogs and was known as a “Dr. Doolittle”.

On June 24, 1984, she married George M. Sickels in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death Feb. 3, 2007.

Survivors include a brother, Joe (Vicky) Hendrickson, Jr. of Chesterfield, Mo; niece Donna (Michael) Rauch, their son Chad Rauch of St. Charles, Mo.; niece Debbie

Hendrickson and her children, Tim Houston, Brian Houston, Angel Houston, Nick Dorr,

Jesse Esslinger and Benjamin Hendrickson, a nephew, Darryl Hendrickson and his children, Chelsea Hendrickson, Alexis Hendrickson and Mariah Hendrickson; and five great-grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel.

The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the chapel with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will follow at New Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler County.
