Julia L. Parshall, 84 of Poplar Bluff, passed away Wednesday Jan. 4, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Parshall, the daughter of the late Henry and Annie (Grissic) Tanner, was born Nov. 24, 1932 in El Paso Texas. She was a member of New Home General Baptist Church. Mrs. Parshall worked for the Poplar Bluff City maintenance department at the City Hall. She enjoyed painting, crafts and loved the outdoors.
On July 14, 2001, she married Bobby Joe Parshall in Poplar Bluff. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include four children, Chester Niederstadt of Rochester, Mn., Austin Niederstadt of Guthrie, Okla., James Niederstadt of Springfield, Mo and Julia Moore of Poplar Bluff; four step-children, Michelle Cain of Park Hills, Mo., Robert Parshall of Bonne Terre, Mo., Rodney Parshall and Chris Parshall also of Park Hills; 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; a sister, Helen Wiggerd of Oklahoma City, Okla.
A brother, James Tanner, and two sisters, Kathryn Smith and Lucille Donaldson, preceded Mrs. Parshall in death.
A visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with the funeral service following at 11 a.m. The Rev. Calvin Buhler will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
