Julie Downing Boyer Russell

Julie Downing Boyer Russell, 50, of Williamsville died unexpectedly Monday, April 5, 2010 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Russell was born Oct. 15, 1959 in San Diego, Calif. She was of the Baptist faith, and had previously worked at Doctor Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Russell enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, cooking and making crafts.

Survivors include her children, Stacy Boyer Dorris of Williamsville and Samantha Boyer McClanahan of Pineland, Tex.; parents, Jack and Jessie (Sinks) Downing of Williamsville; grandchildren, Brandon Dorris, Aydin Nicolas Dorris, Elizabeth McClanahan, Cheyenne McClanahan and Andrea McClanahan; sister, Linda Downing Brown of Jefferson City; and brothers, Jack ""Buzz"" Downing of Huntsville, Jamie Downing of Poplar Bluff and Jeffery Downing of Williamsville.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel with the Rev. Luther Goins officiating.
