Karen May Stewart

Karen May Stewart, 67, of Wappapello, MO, died Monday, June 2, 2014 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Stewart was born Aug. 18, 1946 in Racine, WI. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Stewart enjoyed spending time with and being involved with her family, especially with her grandchildren, working with computers, listening to music and making crafts.

On Sept. 24, 1965, she was married to Donald G. Stewart, Sr., in Racine, WI. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2012.

Survivors include three children: Donald Stewart, Jr. of Wappapello, MO, Donna Stewart of Little Rock, AR and Rebecca (Michael) Phillips of Dallas, TX; her mother, Shirley F. Engel of Wappapello, MO; five grandchildren: Tye E. Stewart, Sean E. Stewart, Neal E. Goodman, Jr., Joni L. Deno and Tommy R. Deno; four sisters: Debra (Henry) Poe, Cheryl Chovan and Brenda (Jim) Hall all of Wappapello, MO, and Shelly (Rodney) Coey of Racine, WI; and a brother, Raymond C. Deno, Jr. also of Wisconsin.

Her father, Raymond C. Deno, Sr. and a brother, Roger Deno also preceded her in death.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
