Kathryn H. Landers

Kathryn H. Landers, 86, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Friday Feb. 3, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. Landers, the daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Todd) Hart was born Oct. 29, 1930 in Morehouse, Mo. She attended Fellowship General Baptist church and was a retired medical secretary for Doctors Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and she was an artist.

On Sept. 4, 1949, she married Richard W. Landers, Jr. in Morehouse. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2016.

Survivors include a son, Richard William Landers III and his wife, Claire Robertson Landers of Poplar Bluff; three grandchildren, Kathryn Gilmore and her husband, Trey, Sam Landers and his wife Jessica and Molly French and her husband, Nate; two great-grandchildren, Lucy Landers and Rylee Gilmore; a sister, Bonnie Burch of Destin, Fla.

A brother, Michael Hart also preceded her in death

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Fellowship General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff with a Celebration of Life following at 1 p.m. The Reverend Byron Beck will officiate.
