Kathryn M. Wilson, 90, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009 at Cedargate Care Center, in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Wilson, the last of 11 children was born Dec. 19, 1918 in the Lone Hill Community of Butler County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Wilson was also a member of the Valley Lodge 321; Auxiliary to the U.T.U.; Eastern Star Chapter 344; and Daughters of the Union Veterans of the Civil War. She worked as a Nutritionist with the University of Missouri Extension Service for 10 years, and was a homemaker
On Dec. 22, 1934 she was married to Eugene Wilson, in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1977. On Aug 3, 1979 she married Elmus Mullane. He preceded her in death in Dec. of 1995.
Survivors include her daughters: Patricia (Wilson) Davis, of Pearland, Tex. and Peggy (Wilson) Wicks and husband Gene, of Bonita Springs, Fla.; 3 grandchildren: Gary Wicks, Nancy Ryan and husband Andy and Kathryn (Wicks) Davis and husband Jeff; step-grandson, Jeff Eicher and wife Cindy; 2 great-grandchildren: Zachary and Emma Ryan; step-great-grandson, Tommy Eicher; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Her parents, Hardy C. and Nancy (Pennington) Dicken preceded Mrs. Wilson in death.
Visitation will be from 9 - 11 a.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service and burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with Dr. William Vail officiating.
