Kathy Lynn Love

Kathy Lynn Love, 55, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Love was born Aug. 9, 1953, in Poplar Bluff. She graduated from Poplar Bluff High School Class of 1971, and attended Three Rivers Community College. Mrs. Love was a member of the First United Methodist Church, of Poplar Bluff, and was a homemaker. She also previously owned and operated ""Goodie Basket"". Mrs. Love was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially on Current River.

On Aug. 5, 1972, she married Charles R. Love, in Poplar Bluff. He survives.

Other survivors include three children, Christopher Love, Amy Courtney and husband Jason and Joshua Love, all of Poplar Bluff; three grandchildren, Easton Courtney, Lauren Courtney and Morgan Courtney and a fourth grandchild, Chaz Thomas Love who is expected to arrive in February; and a sister, Carolyn Sides and husband Jim, of Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Love's parents, Ernest and JoNell (Lovin) Morris, and sister, Sonda Quernheim preceded her in death.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church, 500 North Main St., in Poplar Bluff with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. Burial will be at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church, or to the United Cancer Assistance Network, 1419 Maud St., Poplar Bluff, MO 63901.
