Kenneth Dale Murray

Kenneth Dale Murray, 72, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Delmar Gardens in O'Fallon, Mo.

Mr. Murray was born May 18, 1940 in Van Buren, Mo. He was a member of First General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, and had retired as a Millwright for the Millwright Union. Mr. Murray was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and fixing things.

On May 15, 1975, he married Jean Proffer in Imperial, Mo. She survives.

Other survivors include three children; Tammy Hendry of Pasadena, Tx., Scott Murray of Houston, Tx. and Christine Kutchback of Dardenne Prairie, Mo.; two step-children; Kimberly Snoe of O'Fallon, Mo. and Donald Munier of Houston, Tx.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Sharon Niswonger of Grubville, Mo.; and a brother, Charles Murray of Baytown, Tx.

His parents, Ira and Mary Laveda (Lee) Murray preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 6 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 7 in the funeral chapel with Dr. Dick Murray officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Doniphan, Mo.
