Kenneth Lamar Williams

Kenneth Lamar Williams, 61, of St. Louis, Mo., departed this life on Monday, Aug. 10, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Williams, son of the late Joe E. Sr. and Charline (Graham) Williams, was born Jan. 6, 1954 in Malden, Mo. Disabled since the age of 17, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Williams was always happy, smiling and loved listening to music.

Survivors include a brother, Darrell Wayne Williams of Markham, IL; four sisters: Doretha (Isaac) Cain of Chicago, IL, Sandra Keeton of Markham, IL, Jetta Williams of St. Joseph, MO, Yvonne (Leo) Arrington of Broseley, MO, Jetta, a sister-in-law Barbara Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A sister, Ida B. Criglar and three brothers, Larry Williams, Elroy Williams and Joe E. Williams, Jr. also preceded Mr. Williams in death.

A visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, MO. A second visitation will begin at 12:00pm Saturday at New Home Missionary Baptist Church in Broseley, MO followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Allen Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
