Khaled Toma Grattas

Khaled Toma Ghattas, a loyal Catholic man passed away peacefully at home in Wappapello, Missouri, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the age of 63. He was born February 2,1962, in Amman Jordan and the moving to America at the age of 17. Khaled was reunited in passing with his beloved mother, Feda Hatter; his father, Toma Ghattas; and his sisters, Iman Ghattas and IKhlas Ghattas. He is sur-passed by his devoted, long-life partner, Millie Lay. Khaled was a loving father to his daughters, Samantha Khaled Ghattas Stacy and her husband Kyle, Sabrina Ghattas, MaryKay Davis and her husband Dave, and Jamie White and her husband Joe.  He was also a cherished grandfather of eight grandchildren: Sylas Stacy, Scarlett Stacy, Sabastion Kaelin, Mia Davis, Sophia Davis, Brianna White, Hunter White, and Conner White. Khaled leaves behind his twin brother, Issam Ghattas; sister, Yasmen Haddad; and sister-in-law, Mariana Ghattas. He will also be remembered by his nieces and nephews, Jenny, Joanna, Ross, Michael, Toma, Marlene, Najwa, and Jordan, as well as his eight great nieces and great nephews.  For most of his life, Khaled dedicated himself to the open road as an 18-wheeler driver. Beyond his work he had a deep passion for fishing, loved his dogs who were truly part of his life, cherished his cars, and found joy in watching comedy in western movies such as Eldorado, Virginia, and The Lone Ranger.  Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Poplar Bluff, MO on June 26, 2025, from 10-11am. Funeral Mass will immediately follow beginning at 11am with Father Sampson officiating. Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, MO.
