Kurt Von Whittenberg

Kurt Von Whittenberg, 48, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Poplar Bluff Regional Center.
Mr. Whittenberg was born May 27, 1962 in Sikeston, Mo. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, and had worked for 22 years at the MAG Center in Poplar Bluff. Mr. Whittenberg enjoyed collecting lighthouses and playing video games.
Survivors include his mother, Patsy Husk Whittenberg of Poplar Bluff; and a brother, Michael Hunter of Sikeston.
His father, Henry Wayne Whittenberg and a brother, Vernon Hunter preceded him in death.
A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sparkman Cemetery in Butler County with the Rev. Don Thomas officiating.
