Larry David Hastings

Larry David Hastings, 63, of Poplar Bluff, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2011 at his residence.

Mr. Hastings was born Aug. 5, 1948 in Poplar Bluff. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, and had retired from Three Rivers Community College. Mr. Hastings enjoyed the computer and oil painting.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, James W. and Marilyn Brown Hastings of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Randy Hastings of Poplar Bluff and James Michael Hastings of Dickinson, N.D.; a step-brother, Donald W. Brown of Poplar Bluff; and three step-sisters, Sandy Brown, Karen Hast and Ruth Ann Brown all of Poplar Bluff.

His mother, Gladys (Booker) Hastings preceded Mr. Hastings in death on Nov. 17, 1978.

A graveside service with full military honors will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.

Cotrell Funeral Service of Poplar Bluff is in charge of arrangements.
