Larry Ray Stricklin

Larry Ray Stricklin, 61, of Poplar Bluff, Mo, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital.

Mr. Stricklin was born October 13, 1952 in Caruthersville, MO, to the late Ray and Cassie Pearl Bowen Stricklin. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He and Barbara Reed were married on July 2, 2014. She survives of the home.

Mr. Stricklin dedicated most of his life to working in the heating and cooling business, starting in the 1960's and continuing on when he was owner and operator of Stricklin Heating and Cooling.

Other survivors include his children: Charlotte Tibbs, Jada White (Michael), Adam Stricklin, Tyler Stricklin, and Bradford Stricklin, all of Poplar Bluff, and Linda Dye (David), of Heber Springs, AR; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; brothers: Gary Stricklin (Tammy), Tim Stricklin (Lisa), and Ricky Stricklin (Ellen), all of Poplar Bluff; sisters: Shelia Barnett (Chuck) of Poplar Bluff, Janet Miller, of Piedmont, and Becky Hampton (Jerry), of Fairdealing, and brother in law, Jerry Miller.

He was also preceded in death by a brother; Brad Stricklin, two sisters: Tresia Stricklin and Pat Miller; and a brother in law, Larry Miller.

Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, with funeral services beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the chapel, with Rev. Rick White officiating. Interment will be at Cochran Cemetery.
