Laura M. Hamm, 88, of Imperial, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 07, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Hamm, the daughter of the late Edward and Alta Head Davidson, was born Sept. 18, 1928 in Wilby, Missouri. She was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Hamm enjoyed spending time with her family, making quilts, crocheting and working in the garden.
On July 17, 1953 she married Arnold Hamm in Poplar Bluff. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include her children, Brian (Laura) Hamm and their daughter, Emma and Anita (Gary) Harris and their daughters, Rachael and Jessica; two great-grandchildren; Xavier and Alice Bauman; sisters; Verla Davis and Mary Lou Ward; brothers; David Davidson and Charles Davidson.
Two brothers, Joe Davidson and Edward Lee Davidson; three sisters, Veda Mayse, Verna Ketcherside and Velma Brown also preceded her in death.
A graveside service and burial will take place at 11 a.m. Friday at New Oakhill Cemetery with close friend Jack Woodfin officiating.
