Lawrence "Larry" Michael Arnold

Larry M. Arnold, 72, of Poplar Bluff, died Thursday, Nov, 19, 2015 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Arnold, son of the late Robert Sr. and Helen (Pry) Arnold, was born July 7, 1943 in St. Louis, Mo. He was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a roofer and also as a sanitation engineer. Mr. Arnold was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W. and Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing and hunting. He was also an avid pool player.

On Sept. 23, 1996, he married Linda Pogue in Barnhart, Mo. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include three children: Larry Arnold, Jr. of DeSoto, Mo., Deanna Arnold and Tonya Toppin both of Springfield; four step-children: Bernard Pogue, of Katy, Texas, Elizabeth Dunker of Festus, Amanda Gugliano of Jackson, Miss. and Charles Gugliano also of Katy, Texas; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers: Robert Arnold, Jr. of Moss Mills, Mo., and Mike Pry of Galveston, Texas.

He was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Jerry Arnold.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will be at Cochran cemetery in Butler County.
