Lelia M. Fisk, 80, of Poplar Bluff passed away, Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Fisk was born Aug. 11, 1932 in Poplar Bluff. She had retired from Lucy Lee Hospital, and had served many years as a volunteer for Child Concern Center as well. Mrs. Fisk enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her children and grandchildren, and line dancing.
On Feb. 26, 1949, she married Robert H. Fisk, Sr. in Butler County. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1999.
Survivors include 3 children: Sherry Perigan (Joseph H., Jr.), of Granite City, Ill., Robert H. Fisk, Jr., of Madison, Ill., and Carolyn E. Valencia (Domingo), also of Granite City, Ill.; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, John Helton (Pat), and Gene Moore (Almeda), all of Poplar Bluff.
Her parents, Lawrence and Cindy Stage Helton, son, Benjamin Fisk, 4 sisters and 4 brothers also preceded Mrs. Fisk in death.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral chapel with Rev. Melburn Deaton officiating. Burial will follow at Old Oak Hill Cemetery off Hwy W, in Butler County.
