Lenore Snider

Lenore Snider, 66, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 at her residence.

Mrs. Snider was born June 19, 1942 in Poplar Bluff. She was of the Pentecostal faith, and had retired from the Florsheim Shoe Co. Mrs. Snider enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets.

On Aug. 10, 1981 she was married to Harold S. Snider. He preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 1998.

Survivors include two daughters: Lanona Joy Crafford of Fisk and Beverly E. Brown, of Poplar Bluff; a son, Everett Lee Mitchell of Springfield; four grandchildren: Kevin Crafford, Lisa Crafford, Kelsey Mitchell and Michael Mitchell; a sister, Pat Richards of Okla.; and a brother, Bob Barriner of Boaz, Ala.

Her parents, James Riley and Rose Adaline (Jackson) Barriner; infant son, Christopher Leon Mitchell; sister, Rosie Barriner; and brothers, Olen Tombs, Fred Barriner and Jim Barriner also preceded her in death.

A graveside service and burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Mt. Zion Cemetery, in Butler County with the Rev. Jim Hoyt officiating.
