Leonard Eastwood Jr., 78, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Eastwood was born in Poplar Bluff on July 25, 1935 to Leonard and Dorothy Gunter Eastwood.
On January 12, 1957, he married Edith Cicek in Germany. She survives of the home.
Mr. Eastwood was a member of Little Brushy Missionary Baptist Church in Wappapello. He served in the United States Army, and later was a truck driver. He loved spending time with his family and researching their history through genealogy. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, their children; Eugene Eastwood (Emily) of Commerce City, CO, Johnny Eastwood (Cheryl) of Byers, CO, and Sandra Haug (Steve) of Hornbeck, LA, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a brother Robert Eastwood (Ruth) of Williamsville, MO.
His parents, a brother Cletus Eastwood and sister-in law, Adalee Eastwood and a granddaughter, Natalie Eastwood, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 ? 8 p.m. at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Wappapello. Funeral service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the chapel with Pastor Tim Schultz officiating. Interment will follow at the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield at 12 p.m.
