Leroy Jack Allen

Jack Allen, Jr., 43, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, March 17, 2008 in Moline, Ill. as the result of an accident.

Mr. Allen was born July 18, 1964, in St. Louis. He was of the Pentecostal faith, and was employed with Cole Manufactured Home Co., in Fairdealing. Mr. Allen enjoyed being with family and friends.

Survivors include his daughter, Brandi Gonzales, of Ft. Worth, Tex.; son, Shawn Allen, of Poplar Bluff; mother, Lula Mae (Cornett) Humphrey, of Poplar Bluff; sisters, Teresa Gairhan, of Rogers, Ark. and Mona Rommel, of Poplar Bluff; and brother, Brian Allen, of Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Kerns Chapel Church, in Butler County with the Rev. Junior Bruce officiating. Burial will follow in Kerns Chapel Cemetery.
