Lester Silas Storey, Jr.

Lester Silas Storey, Jr. 50 of Williamsville, Mo., passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at his residence.

Les, the son of Lester Silas Storey, Sr. and Ellen Lorene (Withrow) Conder, was born March 15, 1969 in St. Louis, Mo. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Power House Church where he and Bishop Webb were close friends. Les was employed at Smith and Company as a surveyor. He had a passion for Three Rivers Raiders and thought of Coach Gene Bess as a father figure. Les also enjoyed hunting, fishing and his beagle dogs.

Survivors include his mother, Ellen Conder of Poplar Bluff, two sisters, Pamela Fox of Bull Shoals, Ark. and Donna Crowley of Poplar Bluff, a brother, Doug Ward of Poplar Bluff.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Silas Storey, Sr. and two brothers, Gary Wright and Stanley Wright.

The visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with the funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel. The Bishop Ron Webb will officiate. Burial will follow at Hamtown Cemetery in Butler County.
