Lillian P. Lilly

Lillian P. Lilly, 73, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Lilly, the daughter of the late Frank and Evelyn (Maben) Martin was born Nov. 29, 1942 in Poplar Bluff. She attended Memorial Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff and had retired as a cake decorator for Walmart and IGA Grocery store. Mrs. Lilly enjoyed spending time with her family and dogs and collecting dolls.

On Dec. 21, 1961, she married Jerry Lilly in Poplar Bluff. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include her son, Keith Lilly of Poplar Bluff; five sisters: Mary Barron of Florida, Rose Davis and Alice Stoker of Poplar Bluff, Cathy Falvey of Arnold, Mo. and Margaret Duke of Dixon, Tenn.; two brothers: Sam Maben of Austin, Tex. and Frank Martin, III of Poplar Bluff; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dennis Ward officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.
