Linda Kay Nail

Linda Kay Nail, 81, of Wappapello, MO, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2026, at her home in Wappapello, MO.

Linda was born on February 9, 1945, to Glen and Irene (Spencer) Creason in Risco, MO. On April 8, 1966, in Malden, MO, she was united in marriage to Gene Nail, who proceeded her in death on Oct 15, 2005.

She was a bookkeeper at her local bank for 25 yrs. She attended Mt Olive General Baptist Church where she was the song leader until her retirement with Gene to Wappapello. She was always the first to give a helping hand to those in need.

She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Nail of Wappapello and Christina Creason of Cape Girardeau; one son, Christopher (Kary) Nail of Hillsboro; two sisters Helen Carden of Greenville and Brenda Meyer of Glen Carbon, IL; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kermit Creason and Bobby Creason.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 22 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kenny Burchard officiating. Burial will take place at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Greenville, MO.
