Linda Sue (Mitchem) Rousan

Linda Sue Rousan, 64, of Ellsinore, Mo. died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Mrs. Rousan was born Dec. 24, 1947 in St. Louis, Mo. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Rousan enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, camping, fishing, traveling and going to yard sales.

On Nov. 30, 1963, she married James E. Rousan, Sr. in St. Louis. Mr. Rousan survives.

Other survivors 3 children: James E. Rousan II and wife Karen of Farmington, Mo., Jeffrey A. Rousan and wife Dena of Ellsinore, Mo. and Melissa A. Garrett and husband Tim of Williamsville, Mo.; her father, John Mitchem of Ellsinore, Mo.; 12 grandchildren: James E. Rousan III, Justin Rousan, Jeremy Rousan, Jennifer Rousan, Cody Rousan, Colton Rousan, Cameron Rousan, Kristyn Rousan, Aaron Rousan, Amber Walker and husband Randy, Benjamin Garrett and Zachary Garrett; 5 sisters: Donetta Teschke, Judy McDaniels, Barbara Dyle, Carol Wineberger and Cynthia Blurton; and 5 brothers: Bill Mitchem, John Mitchem, Richard Mitchem, Joe Mitchem and Robert Mitchem.

Her mother, Glenda Hicks Mitchem and brother, Donald Ray Mitchem preceded Mrs. Rousan in death.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral chapel with Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Ark.
