Linda Kay Wendell

Linda Kay Wendell, 66, of Poplar Bluff, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Wendell was born Oct. 19, 1946 in Poplar Bluff. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Wendell enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, and loved animals.

On June 23, 1993, she married Tony Wendell. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include three children, Scott Innes, of Baton Rouge, La., and Sarah Hays and Jessica Homann, both of St. Louis, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Dylan Wells, Josh Innes, Danielle Ellington, Emily Innes, Presley Innes, Gage Austill, and Niki Lowry; two great-grandchildren, Addison Austill and Cayden Innes; and a sister, Karen Berry (Charles), of Poplar Bluff.

Her parents, Edward ""Red Bird"" Brothers and Agnes Head Brothers, and a daughter, Lisa Innes preceded her in death.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral chapel with Rev. Sandra Mick officiating.
