Lizzie Weaver

Lizzie Weaver, 80, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009 at her residence.

Mrs. Weaver was born July 6, 1929 in Sumter, SC. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle in Poplar Bluff, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Weaver enjoyed sitting on her front porch visiting with family and friends.

She was married to Richard Weaver. He preceded her in death in 1968.

Survivors include 4 children: Darlene Weaver and Corsandra Weaver both of Poplar Bluff, Alberta Doe of Irvington, NJ and Lottie Wantue of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. David Tharp officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
