Lois I. Edmundson

Lois I. Edmundson, 73, of Stringtown died Thursday, March 6, 2008 at her residence.

Mrs. Edmundson was born April 29, 1934, in Campbell, Mo.

On April 29, 1955 she married James Lester Edmundson. He survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Diana Bounds and husband Phillip, of Washington, D.C. and Janis Gates and husband Charles, of Poplar Bluff; two grandchildren, James J. Gates and wife Jeannette, of Brighton, CO, and Jeremy W. Gates and wife Cynthia, of Washington, D.C.; five great-grandchildren, Joseph, Julia, Sasha, Dolci and Gino Gates; and two brothers.

Her father Zack Pierce and mother Nora (Hardy) Oxley and husband Floyd preceded her in death.

A Memorial Service for family and friends will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, March 10th at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff.
