Lonnie Terrell Keene, 69, of Foristell, Mo., formerly of Poplar Bluff died Friday, Oct. 15, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Keene was born Feb. 27, 1941 in Poplar Bluff. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was a retired boilermaker. Mr. Keene enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, fishing, hunting and playing golf.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Keene of Wright City, Mo. and Kevin Keene of Ocala, Fla.; their mother, Eva Rainwater of Wappapello, Mo.; three grandchildren, Jordan Keene, Wyatt Keene and Emily Seaman; two sisters, Jimmy Lynn Richardson of Hot Springs, Ark. and Tammy Jordan of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Clifford Keene of Hot Springs, Ark.; and a cousin, Linda Kay Priest of O'Fallon.
His mother, Sissie Spelts Cravens, father, Jimmy Keene, and brother-in-law, Joe Jordan preceded him in death.
A visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Pitman Funeral Home, 300 E. Veterans Memorial Parkway in Wright City. A local visitation will begin at 12 noon Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
