Louise E. Huff-Allen

Louise E. Huff-Allen, 89, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 in Poplar Bluff.

Louise, the daughter of the late Walter and Della T. Hill Holland, was born Feb. 24, 1928 in Ellsinore, Mo. She was a member of First Church of God and had retired as assistant manager from Sherwin-Williams. Louise was proud of her home and loved to garden and mow her lawn. She loved the simple life but had a passion for fine things. Louise enjoyed visiting with the public and having lunch at Wendy’s every day.

Survivors include her husband Wilbur “Bud” Allen of Poplar Bluff; Two sons: four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, friends and caregivers.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. The Rev. Ben Higgins will officiate. Burial will be at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
