Loyd Newell Tubb

Loyd Newell Tubb, 81, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, at Cedargate Care Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Tubb was born in Harviell, MO to the late George M. and Binnie (Hager) Tubb. On May 2, 1954 he and Sandra H. Cochran were married in Poplar Bluff. She survives of the home.
Mr. Tubb was a member of Cornerstone Tabernacle UPC, and had been a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed spending time with his family, music, fishing and woodworking.
Along with his wife, Sandra, survivors include his son, Michael Tubb (Susan); grandchildren: Jason Tubb (Christie), Kevin Tubb (Karen) and Travis Tubb; great-grandchildren: Megan, Michael, James, and Abigail, all of Poplar Bluff, and a brother James Floyd Tubb (Carrolyn), of Neeleyville, MO.
Mr. Tubb was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Leonard, Roy and George, and a sister Lila.
Visitation will be Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel from 1 p.m. until time of funeral services at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Memorial Garden Cemetery with Rev. Brian Parkey officiating.
