Lucille Hendrix

Lucille Hendrix, 82, of Sunnyvale, California, died May 24, 2006 at the El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, CA. Mrs. Hendrix was born March 20, 1924 in Kennett, MO to the late Everett Carl and Myrtle Iva (Frye) Hawkins. She was a homemaker and a member of the Crosswalk Baptist Church in Sunnyvale and enjoyed reading the Bible, sewing and studying genealogy.

On September 18, 1948 she was married to William T. ""Bill"" Hendrix in Clay County, Ark. and he preceded her in death on May 18, 1994.

Surviving are 3 sisters, Bonnie Thom and husband Elmer of Poplar Bluff; JoAnn McGowen and husband Roy of Poplar Bluff and Pauline Ryan of West Covina, CA; 1 brother, Ray Hawkins and wife Jean of Poplar Bluff; a brother-in-law Dave Hendrix and wife Margaret of Poplar Bluff and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hendrix was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Donald Hawkins and Robert Hawkins.

Visitation will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the funeral service following at 2:30 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Steve Patterson officiating. Burial will be in the City Cemetery.
