Lucille Ice

Lucille Katheryn Ice, 89, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on December 23, 1928 to James and Annie (Mayers) Knobloch in Phelan, AR. On June 10, 1949 she married Billy Ice in Van Buren, AR.

She was very family oriented and loved watching her grandchildren in their sporting activities. Family was her life and she was a loving mother, wife, and aunt.

Lucille is survived by her loving spouse of 69 years, Bill Ice of Poplar Bluff; her daughter, Jeanne (Mark) Snowden of Poplar Bluff, MO; five grandchildren, James "Jay" Sisson, Jr., Jenae Sisson, Marissa Snowden, Shauna Ice, and Ryan Ice; 9 great-grandchildren; special niece, Cheryl and Scott Vernon; one sister, Charlsie Huggins and one brother, Buddy Knobloch both of Monticello, AR; and several nieces and nephews.

She and her family are very proud of her granddaughter, SSG Marissa Snowden, serving in the United States Army and currently stationed in Germany.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Rocky Ice and Jesse Ice; her parents; three sisters and five brothers.
