Mable M. (Browning) Graham

Mabel M. Graham, 95, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday evening, Nov. 5, 2015 in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Graham, the daughter of the late James Edward "Eddie" and Katherine "Katie" Bergesch Browning, was born Oct. 5, 1920 in Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, quilting, crocheting and canning.

On Feb. 18, 1942, she married John Graham in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1996.

Survivors include her daughter, Janet Graham; her youngest brother, Edward Clifford (Penney) Browning all of Poplar Bluff; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, John Lumsden and Nellie Morris.

Other family members preceding her in death were: William "Willie" Browning, Gilbert "Slim" Browning, Woodrow "Doc" Browning, Della Graham Browning, Ila Whitmer Browning, Rollie Browning, Junior Browning, James Browning and Jennie Schenewerk Browning.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10th at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. The Rev. Steve Patterson will officiate. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
