Mable G. Hufford

Mable G. Hufford, 86, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Hufford was born March 3, 1924 in Buocoda, Mo. She was a member of Green Forrest Church of Christ, and was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. Mrs. Hufford enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to church, quilting and crocheting.

On April 22, 1942, she married Willis W. Hufford in Senath, Mo. He survives.

Other survivors include her daughter, Judy Swanson of Poplar Bluff; a grandson, Billy Swanson of Poplar Bluff; and two great-grandchildren, Torie Swanson and Nick Swanson also of Poplar Bluff.

Her parents, John Nicholas and Beulah (Neely) Thompson and several brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Green Forest Church of Christ. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Green Forest Church of Christ with Pat Cowden officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.
